Design of a controlled ecological life support system - Regenerative technologies are necessary for implementation in a lunar base CELSSIssues involved in designing a life support system for a new era of space exploration are outlined. A conceptual design is described for a controlled ecological life support system developed for a lunar base. In situ resource utilization for such a system is examined.
