Far-IR Fabry-Perot spectrometer for OH measurementsThe Far Infrared Limb Observing Spectrometer (FILOS) is an instrument designed to measure chemical species in the upper atmosphere using limb emission in the far infrared region of the spectrum. FILOS uses three Fabry-Perot etalons in series to obtain a resolution of 0.0017/cm near 101/cm (99 microns). The instrumental concept and atmospheric measurements are discussed.
