On the optimal two-impulse maneuverAn algorithm and a solution to the optimal two-impulse maneuver for the Ulysses spacecraft is presented. The option in which both maneuvers are designed using the critical plane strategy, which further reduces the propellant budget, is included. Results show savings of 12.4 and 16.7 m/s for full targeting and critical plane strategy, respectively. It is argued that this software will play an important role in the area of multimission maneuver design.
