Software For Three-Dimensional Stress And Thermal AnalysesBEST3D is advanced engineering software system for three-dimensional thermal and stress analyses, particularly of components of hot sections of gas-turbine engines. Utilizes boundary element method, offering, in many situations, more accuracy, efficiency, and ease of use than finite element method. Performs engineering analyses of following types: elastic, heat transfer, plastic, forced vibration, free vibration, and transient elastodynamic. Written in FORTRAN 77.
