SIR-C/X-SAR: Imaging Radar Analyses for Forest Ecosystem ModelingProgress, significant results and future plans are discussed relating to the following objectives: (1) Ecosystem characterization using SIR-C/X-SAR and AirSAR data; (2) Improving radar backscatter models for forest canopies; and (3) Using SAR measurements and models with forest ecosystem models to improve inferences of ecosystem attributes and processes.
