Recent Results in Satellite Precipitation Estimation Using Geosynchronous IR and Low-Orbit Microwave Data in CombinationThis paper describes recent results of research to produce various precipitation data products using low-orbit microwave and geosynchronous IR measurements. Emphasis is placed on products with instantaneous rain estimates, although some examples of monthly products are shown.
