Starch Metabolism in Space-Grown Soybean SeedlingsThe research conducted during this grant is described. There were three major areas of study: These were: (1) the interaction of gravity and sugar metabolism in soybean; (2) the effects of gravity on the photosynthetic activity of Brassica rapa; (3) investigation as to the effects of microgravity on the interaction of a fungal root pathogen with soybean.
