Delta XTE Lift and Mate at Complex 17AThis NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) video release presents footage of the lift and mate of NASA's X-ray Timing Explorer (XTE) to a McDonnell Douglas Delta II rocket at Launch Complex 17A, Cape Canaveral Air Station. The video includes shots of the workcrews as well as wide angle views of the spacecraft in its launching position. The XTE was launched into a circular orbit with an altitude of 600 km and an inclination of 23 degrees on Dec. 30, 1995.
