Significant Science at Jupiter Using Solar PowerMissions to the Outer Planets are challenging for a number of reasons, primary of which is the low output of solar arrays at large heliocentric distances. The INSIDE Jupiter mission is a Discovery concept for a science investigation at Jupiter that is capable of producing major studies of the Jovian internal structure and ionospheric-magnetospheric coupling. Additional information is contained in the original extended abstract.
