Platy Hematite and Metamorphism on MarsEmissivity spectra of Sinus Meridiani, Mars suggest that the hematite consists of platy particles that occur as consolidated, schistose lenses or loose, platy particles. This platy hematite may have originated as a result of burial metamorphism. Additional information is contained in the original extended abstract.
