Self-Assembly of Colloidal Particles on Template StructuresI will discuss recent experiments from my lab, which use surface templates to induce ordered colloidal structures. Particle assembly driven by entropic depletion, fluid convection, and sedimentation will be described. Confocal microscopy was used to visualize most of these samples.
