Radiation Inactivation of Bacterial Spores on MarsThe conditions on Mars are thought to have been more conducive for life during its early history, about 3 billion years ago. If life ever evolved on Mars, would it be possible to see the remnants of a long-extinct biosphere today? Or even more interesting, would it be possible to find Martian bacterial spores that survived for billions of years on Mars?
