A reduced complexity highly power/bandwidth efficient coded FQPSK system with iterative decodingBased on a representation of FQPSK as a trellis-coded modulation, this paper investigates the potential improvement in power efficiency obtained from the application of simple outer codes to form a concatenated coding arrangement with iterative decoding.
