A High Efficiency System for Science Instrument Commanding for the Mars Global Surveyor MissionThe Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) mission will return to Mars to re- cover most of the science lost when the ill fated Mars Observer space- craft suffered a catastrophic anomaly in its propulsion system and did not go into orbit.
