Thermophysical Property Measurement of Molten Silicon by High Temperature Electrostatic LevitationSeveral thermophysical properties of molten silicon measured by the High Temperature Electrostatic Levitator (HTESL) are presented. They are density, constant pressure specific heat capacity, hemispherical total emissivity, and surface tension. Over the temperature region investigated (i.e. 1350 K < Tm < 1825 K), the measured liquid density is expressed by a quadratic expression:.
