The Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX)The Galaxy Evolution Explorer was designed to detect and quantify star formation in a wide variety of environments. I report new scientific results, based on GALEX observations, such as star formation in tidal tails, extended disks, intra-group and Intra-cluster, and induced by outflows from active galactic nuclei.
