Thermal Equilibrium Between Radiation and Matter: A Lead to the Maxwell-Boltzmann and Planck DistributionsThis viewgraph presentation reviews the 1901 work in Planck's constant and blackbody radiation law and the 1916 Einstein rederivation of the blackbody radiation law. It also reviews Wien's law. It also presents equations that demonstrate the thermal balance between radiation and matter.
