The Aura MissionAura was designed to probe the chemistry of the troposphere as well as the stratosphere. Two instruments, the Microwave Limb Sounder, the Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer (TES) and the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) have provided some remarkable information on pollution, long range pollution transport and strat-trop exchange. This talk will review some of the more startling observations and some new science that we are seeing in the Aura data.
