NavP: Structured and Multithreaded Distributed Parallel ProgrammingThis slide presentation reviews some of the issues around distributed parallel programming. It compares and contrast two methods of programming: Single Program Multiple Data (SPMD) with the Navigational Programming (NAVP). It then reviews the distributed sequential computing (DSC) method and the methodology of NavP. Case studies are presented. It also reviews the work that is being done to enable the NavP system.
