Cassini-Huygens Engineering Operations at SaturnOn 30th June 2004 the Cassini spacecraft fired its main engine to maneuver into orbit around Saturn. This paper describes the engineering operations that have contributed to the unprecedented scientific success of the Cassini and Huygens missions, and how engineering operations are planned and implemented in concert with the required sequence of science observations.
