Remote Detection Sodium Cell Magnetometry Using Amplitude Modulated LightWe have investigated the performance of a remote-detection sodium cell magnetometer using synchronous optical pumping with amplitude modulated light. The magnetometer is used to measure ambient geomagnetic field with high-sensitivity using backscattered resonance fluorescence.
