Low temperature fuel behavior studiesAircraft fuels at low temperatures near the freezing point. The principal objective was an improved understanding of the flowability and pumpability of the fuels in a facility that simulated the heat transfer and temperature profiles encountered during flight in the long range commercial wing tanks.
