Bandwidth compression of color video signalsThe different encoder/decoder strategies to digitally encode video using an adaptive delta modulation are described. The techniques employed are: (1) separately encoding the R, G, and B components; (2) separately encoding the I, Y, and Q components; and (3) encoding the picture in a line sequential manner.
