Documentation for the machine-readable version of the Uppsala general catalogue of galaxiesThe machine-readable version of the catalog containing descriptions of galaxies, their surrounding areas, and position angles for flattened galaxies is described. In addition to the correction of several errors discovered in a previous computerized version, a few duplicate records were removed and the record structure was revised slightly to accommodate a large data value and to remove superfluous blanks.
