Contamination measurements on experiment M0003The contamination monitors on the M0003 experiment consisted of passive sample collectors to measure molecular and particular deposition. The collectors were placed in the leading and trailing edge trays of M0003. The objective was to quantify the contaminants and determine how contamination affected the other materials in the trays. Duplicate collectors were placed inside the vacuum canisters that provided protection from the launch, ascent, deployment, and recovery environments.
