Radiation and temperature effects on LDEF fiber optic cable samplesThis paper will concentrate on results obtained from the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) Fiber Optics Long Duration Exposure Facility (LDEF) Experiment since the June 1991 Experimenters Workshop. Radiation darkening of the laboratory control samples will be compared with the LDEF flight samples. The results of laboratory temperature tests on the flight samples extending over a period of about nine years including the preflight and postflight analysis periods will be described.
