Robust unstructured grid generation with VGRIDThe objective of this work is to develop a robust, user-oriented, unstructured grid-generation technique for fast generation of Euler/viscous grids around complex 2D and 3D configurations. To do this, two different approaches are employed: the advancing-front method for generation of Euler grids; and the advancing-layers method for generation of viscous grids. A discussion of these topics is presented in viewgraph form.
