A geometrical result regarding time-of-arrival lightning locationOne reason for investigating Lightning Detection And Ranging (LDAR) is to validate data from the Optical Transient Detector (OTD). A Time-Of-Arrival (TOA) procedure may be used with radio wave portions of lighting signatures. An antenna is in place at KSC.
