Morphology of Some Small Mars North-Polar Volcanic Edifices from Viking Images and MOLA TopographyStudied features in the northern near polar regions of Mars have morphologies suggesting volcanic origin. The results of this study suggest that these features may represent martian effusive shield volcanics.
