grain-size distribution of apollo 11 soil 10084Results of a new grain size analysis of 0.99 g of the submillimeter fraction of the soil 10084, using the JSC methodology, are: 4.28 phi =(51 micrometers) and 2.23 phi (=213 micrometers). A significant fraction (14.2%) of the soil is less than 10 micrometers in size.
