Electrostatic Enhancement of Coagulation in Protoplanetary NebulaeMicrogravity experiments suggest that electrostatic forces (overwhelmed by normal Earth gravity) could greatly enhance cohesive strength of preplanetary aggregates. Cohesive forces may be 103 times larger than those for van der Waals adhesion. Additional information is contained in the original extended abstract.
