Chondrites Under Stress: Physical Processes and Geochemical Signatures at Slow Experimental Strain RatesWe have experimentally investigated metal segregation at slow strain rates. Liquid metal pore pressure remains high during deformation and migration is by fracture. Within a crystalline mush silicate melt may migrate preferentially to metallic liquid. Additional information is contained in the original extended abstract.
