Atmospheric Entry Heating of Micrometeorites Revisited: Higher Temperatures and Potential BiasesThe atmospheric entry heating model of Love and Brownlee appears to have overestimated evaporation rates by as much as two orders of magnitude. Here we revisit the issue of atmospheric entry heating, using a revised prescription for evaporation rates. Additional information is contained in the original extended abstract.
