Mineralogy and Petrology of Yamato 86029: A New Type of Carbonaceous ChondriteY-86029 resembles CI chondrites. Its matrix is very fine-grained. Olivine shows evidence of shock, which has rarely been observed in carbonaceous chondrites. Y-86029 experienced aqueous and thermal alteration during or after accretion in parent body.
