Laboratory Studies of the Opposition Effect: Measurements of Well-sorted Particles Smaller and Larger than the Incident WavelengthWe have studied the opposition surge of well sorted diamond powders. All particle sizes show a pronounced opposition surge and evidence for coherent backscatter, in disagreement with theoretical predictions.
