Evaluation of the Tribological Behavior of Krytox 143AB with Nano-onionsNanoparticles have been widely developed over the past ten years and have found several applications. This work presents the use of carbon nano-onions, i.e. nanoparticles, as a potential additive in an oil for aerospace application. It was shown that these particles can provide adequate lubrication very similar to graphitic material.
