Reactivating Air Stations at the 14-by 22-Foot Subsonic TunnelThe 14-by 22-Foot Subsonic Tunnel has the capability to simulate propulsion and augmented lift using high pressure air supplied by a variety of air stations. During a customer test in 2018, the chosen air station did not provide the necessary air flow required for the test, so an effort was made to revive a decommissioned air station in a brief time window. This presentation summarizes the high pressure air capabilities of the 14x22 and the challenges of reactivating an air station.
