The Rotating Rake Mode Measurement SystemA radial rake inserted in to a turbofan inlet or exhaust duct. It has radially distributed pressure transducers. The rake continuously and synchronously rotates about the duct centerline to obtain a time history of the dynamic pressure. A complete acoustic mode map at the fan harmonics is obtained from the signal processing.
