Adaptive Processing System (APS) System DescriptionThis Adaptive Processing System (APS) System Description describes a processing system developed by the Goddard Space Flight Center Terrestrial Information Systems Laboratory (TISL) for performing science data processing for a number of remote sensing missions. Essentially, APS receives data from external data providers, processes the data using algorithms provided by science team algorithm developers, stores the data as appropriate and sends the processed data out to external data consumers, typically a NASA Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) for long term archive and distribution.
