Volume-energy parameters and turbulent-flow density fluctuationsVolume-energy relations determined from an equation of state were used to group many sets of heat transfer data for liquids and gases, including the near-critical region. The volume - Gibbs energy parameter grouped these data better than did such other parameters as enthalpy, temperature, or internal energy.
