C2, CN and dust in Comet Wilson (1987VII)Column density profiles in C2 and CN as well as in blue and red continuum (BC and RC) were constructed from two dimensional images of the coma of Comet Wilson (1987VII). The authors' analysis showed that the continuum profiles decrease with the nuclear distance rho as 1/rho. From the C2 and CN profiles the authors determined the parent and the daughter lifetimes as well as the production rates in terms of the vectorial model.
