NASA Emissions Research OverviewNASA Aeronautics is advancing a variety of technologies toward the objective of reducing aviation fuel burn and emissions. Specifically, the Advanced Air Transport Technology Project under the Advanced Air Vehicles Program is investing in technologies such as small core engines, fuel-flexible combustors, and electrified aircraft propulsion, all of which offer potential for reduced fleet fuel usage and harmful emissions. This presentation will provide a brief overview of these technical approaches as well as a NASA Aeronautics budget outlook.
