A New Definition to the Phase Operator and its PropertiesBy introducing a series of mathematical symbols and the phase quantization condition, we give a new definition of the phase operator, which not only is made directly in infinite state spaces, but also circumvents all difficulties appearing in the traditional approach Properties of the phase operator and its expressions in some widely-used representations are also given.
