Two-Phase Flow System Design Status of the Flow Boiling and Condensation ExperimentThe Flow Boiling and Condensation Experiment (FBCE) is a flight experiment that is designed to operate in the Fluids Integrated Rack (FIR) on the International Space Station (ISS). The goal of the FBCE is to obtain heat transfer data, as well as general flow data, for two-phase flow systems in microgravity. This will help in the design of thermal management systems that are able to utilize latent heat transfer more efficiently.
